Describe your style in three words?
Indie kid.
The first track you played on repeat? And where did you play it?
The Specials - A Message to You Rudy
I was 10 and living in Canada. My uncle came over on holiday from the U.K and had The Specials on tape. I asked him to play 'A Message To You Rudy' over and over. I’ve loved the band ever since.
A song from your favourite album? And what does this track mean to you?
Billy Bragg - Waiting for the Great Leap Forwards
My Favourite Billy Bragg song from my favourite album 'Workers Playtime'.
A song from your most memorable gig?
Gene - Olympian
I saw Gene over 25 times so the actual gig I’m not sure of, but the one were Martin Rossiter dedicated 'Olympian' to me was pretty freaking awesome.
A song that always gets you up and dancing?
The Wedding Present - Kennedy
Bloody love The Wedding Present and I don’t think I can not dance to this when I hear it played.
A new song you're listening to? Why do you like this artist?
The Jaded Hearts Club - Nobody but Me
Love a bit of Miles Kane and it’s a great cover version too.
Best song to turn up loud? And why?
Pixies - Wave of Mutilation
Put it on, turn it up, dance around and repeat forever.
A song that defines the teenage you? And the memories it evokes?
The Smiths - Cemetry Gates - 2011 Remaster
Yes, I wore floppy hats and summer dresses with DM’s and hung around graveyards talking about Oscar Wilde.
An anthemic song? Why does it get your pulse racing?
The Stone Roses - I Am the Resurrection - Remastered
Needs no words.
Best song to end an all-nighter?
Doves - Pounding
I love Doves and this song is just a perfect way to end a big night.
