Name, where are you from?
Hi we’re Keep Dancing Inc from Paris, France.

Describe your style in three words?
Joseph: Gifts from mum.
Louis: Dad closet finds.
Gaby: Lesbian truck driver.

What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
J: Probably all the gigs by La Femme that I’ve attended during their first album era. Must have seen them four or five times between 2012 and 2014 and each show was memorable.
G: TR/ST at the Trianon in Paris. It looked more like a giant club than a concert.
L: Hard to say but the last time I saw Hot Chip live they played 'Sabotage' by Beastie Boys and it was the most powerful thing I might have ever seen.

If you could be on the line up with any two artists in history?
G: Haim because they're probably the best band in the world right now and they're hot AF.
L: Front 242 to see how they worked and how they managed to get those crazy sounds.

Which subcultures have influenced you?
J & L: Early '80s French new wave. Love the aesthetic and use of cheap synthesizers.

If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
G: David Lynch. I'd like him to explain Mulholland Drive.

Of all the venues you’ve been to or played, which is your favourite?

G: Le Trianon. It's the most beautiful venue I've ever been to.
J: La Friche la Belle de Mai. It's a huuuge rooftop in Marseille (south of France). We played there in the summer and the sun was setting behind us, gorgeous.
L: Chunk in Leeds. We played there during winter and it was probably -2°c inside. There was a huge wall of amp behind us and it was definitely our loudest concert compared to the size of the room. And Zozo the headliner absolutely killed it.

Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
L: The Cleaners From Venus. I think he's one of the greatest songwriter and DIY/lo-fi artist ever.
J: Gérard Pelletier and Cati Tete from the early '80s French band Deux. They were pioneers in minimal bedroom synth-pop but they never got the recognition they deserve.
