Tuki Takamura, Nishinomiya, Hyogo.
Dancer.
I know this from my mum, and it is an online clip of 'Mamma Knows Best' by Jessie J. Soul dancing, emotional performance that I still go back to watch when you need a motivational boost.
I am not sure if you would treat it as a subculture but in a way though I would say the animation of 'Alice in Wonderland'. I watched it on VHS the first time when I was about five or six before I started dancing. It was such a new experience to go dive into the image, or its storyline.
I feel alive when I stand on stage and do three bows to show my appreciation. It was in 2018 when I danced on the stage of the Beijing National Theatre Academy, and I was overwhelmed for the first time, I even cried while I was bowing still. I thought we were all seeing the same image during the performance.
Amy Winehouse. I have always wanted to hear her live. I do not need to dance for money for this one, and I would be satisfied even if it is a small venue. She makes us dance with her voice with a lilt, doesn’t she? Would be wonderful to dance to it with everyone in the audience. If I could choose a song, it would be 'Rehab'.
There's so much respect for historical figures that… It's hard to imagine, I would like to hear The Beatles gig in a big stadium. I'd like to be the only one in the audience, and I'd especially like to hear 'Hello, Goodbye'.
It is not that I want them to be popular or anything, but I see the parents or family of my favourite singers such as Jessie J and Adele.
'Remedy' by Adele. It is a track from the UK which I have really listened to beyond the point of repeat.
'Who You Are' by Jessie J. I was struggling with exams in order to get into the right high school and this track saved me by pulling me out of a near-drowning state.
'Heartbreak' by Jessie J. I am emotionally attached to the whole album. I will never lose myself in the future with this album in my hand.
Korean group called BTS, and it is from a verse of 'ON' that says, "Go crazy for the sake of not going crazy". A phrase that I can relate very well and will stay with me forever.
'Hello' by Adele. I often feel sentimental, like about 80% of a day. That's when the track just starts ringing in my head.
FKA Twigs. I like songs that are very easy to understand. Like they go in through your ears and pierce your heart but I also like songs like hers that get into your mind after having some reflections on the wall before your head.
I have only been listening to tracks that I am attached to right now, so I am afraid I cannot give one.
