Ray BEAMS has always had an instinct for the unconventional, and that’s as true today as it was back in 1984. Expect the unexpected and welcome change with open arms: there’s no better canvas for the free-thinker than our signature shirt.

The first style in this unique collaboration reimagines the Twin Tipped Fred Perry Shirt with distinctive cut-and-sew panelling to simulate the design of a bustier. With piped seams and a duo of detachable chains functioning as straps, this piece plays with structure and shaping as it nods to timeless womenswear tropes.

Its long-sleeved counterpart showcases an all-over contrast print that’s directly inspired by archival Fred Perry knitwear patterns. Brought to life with a silvered foil effect, cable knit effect leaves running down each sleeve mimic our legendary Laurel Wreath, pairing a bold and innovative approach with reference to our essential heritage.
Both styles are finished with the year of Ray BEAMS’ inception stitched beneath our Laurel Wreath embroidery at the left-hand chest. Here’s to the next 40 years.
