Dylan John Thomas. Glasgow.
Describe your style in three words?
Black track tops.
What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
The Specials at The Barrowlands. Best live band in the best venue in the world. 'Ghost Town' was the standout.
If you could be on the line up with any two artists in history?
I was going to say The Beatles but they had to stop playing live as they couldn’t hear themselves due to the audience being so loud so I don’t know if that’d be a great idea. Probably Johnny Cash and Leonard Cohen.
Which subcultures have influenced you?
Mods and casuals were probably the ones most of my mates were obsessed with growing up. More so the casual side as it had a rebirth when I was in school. I remember a point when everybody came into class with the same Fila trackie top.
If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
Jesus Christ. Just have a few questions to ask him.
Of all the venues you’ve been to or played, which is your favourite?
Barrowlands in Glasgow. Seen a lot of class bands there and was lucky enough to headline it last month. Many factors involved in making it the greatest venue. From the sprung dance floor down to the reflection times off the back wall to the stage. Grew up down the road from it and would walk past it every weekend when we would spend all our spare time in the guitar shops at Trongate.
Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
I always thought McFly were underrated. Chord progressions were something different to pop music at the time and the harmonies were Beatlesque. Really well-written love tunes with many technical elements shining through.

Andre Reiu’s version of 'Highland Cathedral'. The dynamic in the key change is mental.

'Running Up That Hill' by Kate Bush is in my top ten tunes. Think Kate Bush is an unexpected influence.
Best song to end an all-nighter on?
'Loch Lomond' by Runrig.
