Describe your style in three words?

Relaxed, fun, constantly changing.

The first track you played on repeat?

Disclosure - F For You

I remember hearing this song first in my older brothers car driving me home, then a few years later at my first house party. Since then I have been lucky enough to see it live and it is still guaranteed to have everyone dancing in the middle of the living room at 3am.

A song from your favorite album?

Solange - Losing You

I find that no matter my mood or mental state this is always a song I can sing along to. I first fell in love with the music video after doing a project about the gentlemen featured. But then found myself listening to the song over and over.

A song from your most memorable gig?

Foo Fighters - Best of You

It is such an iconic song from a band that I love dearly. When I was stood in the stadium with my brother, who has been a massive influence on my music taste, shouting every lyric perfectly with every other person in the crowd it was incredible.

A song that always gets you up and dancing?

Chloe x Halle - Ungodly Hour

This is such an incredible song. These two sisters are so unbelievably talented and this is by far one of their best songs. It has become a staple song within my friendship group and I would 100% recommend listening to their live performance of this song.

A new song you're listening to?

Cailin Russo - Pink Sand

Over the past three months, I have made it my weekly task to listen to Spotify’s Discover Weekly. From them months this song stands out. It was in the first playlist I listened to and since then has found its way into many of my other playlists and even my friends.

Best song to turn up loud?

The 1975 - Somebody Else

Whether you are broken-hearted or not this song is perfect to sing along to. I have driven home so many times performing an Oscar-worthy display for my steering wheel to this song.

A song that defines the teenage you?

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Give It Away

As many teenagers do, I had my ‘edgy’ or ‘emo’ stage. This song is by no means ‘emo’. However, when I first discovered the rock playlists to this day this song will remind me of being in high school. I thought I was so much cooler than anyone else for not listening to the Top 40.

An anthemic song?

Kendrick Lamar - Now Or Never - Bonus Track

This song is so important to me. Before joining university it was in my ‘Party’ playlist. However, since moving to Manchester this song is attached to me. Whenever it is played my friends will turn around and say ‘this is your song!’ Over the music.

Best song to end an all-nighter?

Whitney Houston - Million Dollar Bill

I couldn’t tell you how or why this song became our friendship group song but it has and I will never be able to listen to this song without cracking a smile. After listening to house music all night and then hoping to this is so strange but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
