Describe your style in three words?
Mismatched print and anything that sparkles
The first track you played on repeat? And where did you play it?
Blondie - Atomic
I vaguely remember the first time I watched trainspotting and when I heard this song in the night club scene for the first time I was obsessed. I used to sit in my bedroom for hours with best of blondie album on repeat, particularly atomic
A song from your favourite album? And what does this track mean to you?
Pearl Jam - Black
My parents have always been a fan of Pearl Jam and when I was a kid this was probably the most well played album in our house. Even from a young age I knew that this would always be my favourite
A song from your most memorable gig?
Tame Impala - Let It Happen
The gig was in Gunnersbury park and although I actually blacked out during , the most memorable moment for me was when they opened with this song. The sun was about to set and the lights on stage were reflecting in the sky, it was perfect
A song that always gets you up and dancing?
Wilson Pickett - Land of 1000 Dances
In my opinion It’s just impossible to not get up and dance to this song really, it’s so funky and uplifting, will forever be nagging dj’s for this request on a night out
A new song you're listening to? Why do you like this artist?
HMLTD - To the Door
Well the first time I listened to these, was when I saw them live at green man fest last summer. I was instantly mesmerised by their performance and have listened ever since, this song in particular stood out to me the most that night and I have loved eve
Best song to turn up loud? And why?
Led Zeppelin - Rock and Roll
My favourite time to listen to this song is in the car with the volume on full. Always turns a long dreary journey into a bearable one (can also sing my heart out when the music’s loud and not actually have to hear my tone deaf self haha)
A song that defines the teenage you? And the memories it evokes?
Alice Cooper - Poison
This song will forever remind me of house parties as a teenager as it was always rinsed on the speaker, but everyone would still get excited and sing their hearts out when It came on (including myself)
An anthemic song? Why does it get your pulse racing?
Michael Jackson - Rock with You - Single Version
I’ve always thought this song to be an anthem, Michael Jackson just had such an anthemic voice, and a way with his style and music. This is a song that I could never skip
Best song to end an all-nighter?
Black Sabbath - Planet Caravan - 2009 Remastered Version
For me, this is the best song to unwind to after a night out as it’s such a calming and soothing listen, especially when you’re still pumped from the buzz of a big night and need to get your head down
