03Interview

Describe your style in three words?

Work in progress.

The first track you played on repeat?

Flowers - We Can Get Together

Flowers (later Icehouse) were the first band that I really took an interest in as a teenager about 100 years ago.

A song from your favorite album?

Vaeder - Bono made me crash my car

Because it’s mine! But also because the track calls out some bad behaviour that deserves to be called out, i.e., when U2 downloaded their album 'Songs of Innocence' to 500 million Apple devices without consent.

A song from your most memorable gig?

The National - Conversation 16

Great track and reminds me of a great gig at Villa Maria winery.

A song that always gets you up and dancing?

Scavengers - Mysterex

In your face and just so dam catchy!

A new song you're listening to?

Fontaines D.C. - Jackie Down The Line

A great car listen.

Best song to turn up loud?

Daffodils - House Across The Street

Another current favourite.

A song that defines the teenage you?

The Verlaines - Death And The Maiden

Ah yes, those teenage parties.

An anthemic song?

Vaeder - Personal Autocrat

Speaks for itself.

Best song to end an all-nighter?

Straitjacket Fits - Down in Splendour

The perfect wind down.
