03Interview

Describe your style in three words?

Casual chilled modern.

The first track you played on repeat? And where did you play it?

Jamiroquai - When You Gonna Learn? - Remastered

1994 in my bedroom, on tape.

A song from your favourite album? And what does this track mean to you?

Jamiroquai - Space Cowboy - Remastered

It was the start of me loving music and really appreciating all bands. A very unique band and frontman in JK.

A song from your most memorable gig?

Richard Ashcroft - A Song For The Lovers

Warrington, many other wonderful artists there that day but being in the presence of that man was special, plus I love that tune.

A song that always gets you up and dancing?

The Style Council - Shout To The Top

A wonderful band, loved by many, great music.

A new song you're listening to? Why do you like this artist?

Foals - The Runner

I just simply like the band, also like this track, they are a decent band.

Best song to turn up loud? And why?

Doves - Black And White Town

Mainly in the car, it’s the intro that does it for me.

A song that defines the teenage you? And the memories it evokes?

Jamiroquai - High Times - Remastered

It’s just being young and carefree, it’s one of my favourites for sure.

An anthemic song? Why does it get your pulse racing?

Oasis - Cigarettes & Alcohol

Not only in my opinion it’s an anthem, but I believe many people can relate to the music and the songwriting.

Best song to end an all-nighter?

The Stone Roses - I Am the Resurrection - Remastered

It’s a classic, it’s never going out of fashion and I believe many of us love this band’s music, I know I do.
