Sam – guitar and vibey shouts.
Charlie – bass and backing vocals.
Mark – bang the drums.
What’s the band doing at the moment?
S - Focusing on writing. We’ve been in the studio with Buff Records, got some mad exciting things to come. Also, we’ve got our first headline show coming up, so vibing hard for that!
What influences your sound?
H - There’s a bunch… The Strokes, Blur, Richard Hell, Blake Mills, Jeff Buckley, Television, Beatles, Bowie, Arcade Fire, Bruce Springsteen and The War on Drugs.
Describe your style in three words?
C - Fierce Love Energy.
How should your music be listened to?
M - With friends on a Friday night! Nice and f***ing loud. It’s party music, something to give you a lift.
What music defines the teenage you?
C - Sort of a mash-up of Beatles, Strokes, Arctic Monkeys and Arcade Fire...
A British icon that has inspired you?
H - David Bowie. Very few come close.

S - Eagles of Death Metal - Zipper Down - LA inspired chest fest!
What’s the best gig you’ve been to?
H - Hands down King Gizzard at Brixton Academy. I crowd surfed for 5 mins straight after the music had finished. I then tried to go backstage and got punched in the face by a bouncer, which didn’t take anything away from how sick the night was.
What was the first song you played on repeat?
M - Oh man mine was pure trash. ‘Who Let The Dogs Out’ by The Baha Men haha.
A song from your favourite album?
C - Impossible to choose favourite album…either 'Eleanor Rigby' from 'Revolver' or 'God Only Knows' from 'Pet Sounds' - both have amazingly poetic lyrics, amazing melody, amazing arrangement.
A song you wish you had written?
H - The Beatles ‘Why Don’t We Do It In The Road?’
C- Again ‘Eleanor Rigby’ by The Beatles or ‘God Only Knows’ by The Beach Boys.
Most meaningful lyrics to inspire change?
C - "Imagine there's no countries,
It isn't hard to do,
Nothing to kill or die for,
And no religion, too.
Imagine all the people,
Living life in peace."
'Imagine' by John Lennon. Obvs.
Best song to bring people together?
M - 'Afe Ato Yen Bio' by De Frank Professionals.
Best love song of all time?
S - David Bowie's ‘Heroes’ or ‘Something’ by George Harrison.
Is there a song you like that people wouldn’t expect?
M – Sam’s guilty pleasure is ‘Twice’ by Catfish and The Bottlemen.
C - I’m real into Julia Michael’s two singles ‘Issues’ & ‘Uh-Huh’ - she also wrote ‘Sorry’ by Justin Bieber which is also a banger.
Which new British bands are you listening to at the moment?
H – Spring King, Wolf Alice, Slaves, Yak.
C – Count Counsellor.
S - God Damn.
M – Dead Pretties, Goat Girl.
