03Interview

Describe your style in three words?

Casual punk skin.

The first track you played on repeat? And where did you play it?

Shelter - Message of the Bhagavat

A friend of mine gave me that album when I was 13 and that got me into hardcore/punk sxe back in Brazil.

A song from your favourite album? And what does this track mean to you?

Colligere - Vertigem

That’s my favorite Brazilian band, they’re insane good and the lyrics are like poetry. I think they should be way bigger than they actually are.

A song from your most memorable gig?

Descendents - Thank You

First time I saw Descendents was back in Belgium in 2014 and Milo came to the crowd and let me sing a bit that song, so it’s memorable I guess.

A song that always gets you up and dancing?

The Selecter - On My Radio

If you don’t dance with that song, come on there’s something wrong with you!

A new song you're listening to? Why do you like this artist?

Black Marble - Iron Lung

Went to see Cold Cave few years ago and they opened for them. Normally I don’t pay much attention to openers, but that band is insanely good.

Best song to turn up loud? And why?

Gorilla Biscuits - Start Today

Come on just listen the first 10 seconds of this song and you will understand.

A song that defines the teenage you? And the memories it evokes?

Chickenpox - Anything You Say

Used to listen that album and sing along with friends. Good memories because I haven’t seen those friends in years.

An anthemic song? Why does it get your pulse racing?

Project X - Straight Edge Revenge

That song used to be my anthem, still the same feeling and believes.

Best song to end an all-nighter?

Blur - Girls and Boys

Perfect song for a perfect end!
