03Interview

The first track you played on repeat?

Amy Winehouse - You Know I'm No Good

The first album I ever bought was Back to Black in 2006 and I loved the whole album but this was, for me, the one song I'd always put back on.

A song from your favorite album?

The Beatles - In My Life - Remastered 2009

I listen to this song at home! It's my favourite of the whole album I think it's one of the best songs ever!

A song from your most memorable gig?

Wings - Let Me Roll It - Remastered 2010

Once in a lifetime gig seeing Paul McCartney! Of course, seeing him perform all The Beatles' songs was incredible however I was so excited to see him perform this song. I just love it! such a great riff!

A song that always gets you up and dancing?

Gloria Gaynor - I Will Survive - Original 7" Version

This song is perfect and I will listen to it anywhere to get me in a good and powerful mood! I love the attitude and of course, it's a girl power classic!

A new song you're listening to?

Wet Leg - Wet Dream

Listened to this song whilst on holiday! and now it will always remind me of being by a pool even if I'm in rainy Liverpool!

Best song to turn up loud?

Arctic Monkeys - R U Mine?

Everything about this song should be played loud!

A song that defines the teenage you?

The Vaccines - Wreckin' Bar (Ra Ra Ra)

The Vaccines are just the sound of being a teenager for me and going on nights out!

An anthemic song?

Franz Ferdinand - Take Me Out

Seeing this live at a festival absolutely confirmed its anthem status to me! hearing everyone around singing this all together was the most fun!

Best song to end an all-nighter?

Richard Hawley - Just Like the Rain

I think when you are at the end of the night wanting to wind things down Richard Hawley is perfect! This song always reminds me of that exact feeling.
