For me growing up on the scooter rallies as a kid surrounded by mods, punks, skinheads and psychobillies I was exposed to various types of music, however, this individual song opened the door to reggae music and especially Trojan Records.

A song from your favorite album?

Fleet Foxes - White Winter Hymnal

I adore this record, I saw these guys live and waited so long! it was stunning. It's one of the very few albums I can just press play and leave. This was a hard decision aside from 'Dark Side Of The Moon'!

A song from your most memorable gig?

Deep Purple - Smoke On The Water - Remastered 2012

My first ever proper concert in an arena was in Sheffield with my dad, I won tickets in year 9 and I remember being so excited and couldn't get my head around the fact that there wouldn't be mods there fighting rockers. They also had Rick Wakeman on keys which was amazing.

A song that always gets you up and dancing?

Barrington Levy - Murderer

How can you not dance to this? Even just a rock back and forward... one of the greatest ridders in history! I saw Barrington Levy with Sanchez in Brixton with my mate Rompa just before Covid-19 hit and it's something I'll never forget.

Jubei - Show Me

For me, this encompasses old rave with jungle which fits in with the new wave of drum and bass. dBridge and Jubei are some of the best producers out there making drum and bass and the atmosphere they create in these 4 minutes and 33 seconds is insane.

Best song to turn up loud?

The Gladiators - Rich Man Poor Man

One of the most underrated reggae records of all time. Whether you stream from Spotify or stand next to a huge thundering rig at Notting Hill Carnival... The bass alone makes you feel like you're floating and the hairs on your neck will be on its end!

A song that defines the teenage you?

The Jam - Down In The Tube Station At Midnight - Single Version

I remember rinsing The Jam constantly, I preferred The Jam to The Who, Paul Weller had a certain attitude I admired because I would never genuinely be that cool. Oh, Also Madness got rinsed on my iPod around 16 years old.

An anthemic song?

The Stone Roses - I Am the Resurrection - Remastered

Why not? Minutes on minutes of build-up and slowing down, an unreal song that can be played anywhere and give you a different experience. It beats 'Wonderwall' at 5am I assure you.

Best song to end an all-nighter?

Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb - 2011 Remastered Version

Irrelevant to what you've been doing all night, this will aid your pre-bed water gulping and questionable decisions. 'Dark Side Of The Moon' is one of the best albums ever made in my opinion. If this track featured on it instead of appearing on 'The Wall' it would be the ultimate album.
