Describe your style in three words?
hopefully well dressed.
The first track you played on repeat? And where did you play it?
Die Roten Rosen - Weihnachtsmann vom Dach
It's a Christmas song by the famous Punk band Die Toten Hosen from Düsseldorf. I remember being a little kid watching MTV and was fascinated by the music video.
A song from your favourite album? And what does this track mean to you?
Basement - Pine
I associate my favourite season, Autumn, with this album.
A song from your most memorable gig?
Alexisonfire - Happiness By The Kilowatt
During the final pre-exams I went to a doctor to get out of an exam just to travel to Alexisonfire's final show in London. I was 18 and the music really meant that much to me.
A song that always gets you up and dancing?
Refused - New Noise
The Shape of Punk to come!
A new song you're listening to? Why do you like this artist?
Oathbreaker - Ease Me
The lyrics, the style, the mood. Basically everything about the band.
Best song to turn up loud? And why?
The Twilight Sad - I Could Give You All That You Don't Want
I listen this song everywhere I can!
A song that defines the teenage you? And the memories it evokes?
Rancid - Fall Back Down
Playing Tony Hawk on the Playstation. Going out with friends skating in the summer and just do nonsense and care about nothing!
An anthemic song? Why does it get your pulse racing?
Taking Back Sunday - Cute Without The 'E' (Cut From The Team)
The first line and the refrain are so memorable.
Best song to end an all-nighter?
Arctic Monkeys - I Wanna Be Yours
It's a great song and not too sad and not too wild to end the evening and give you good vibes.
