Describe your style in three words?
Easy, clean, sharp.
The first track you played on repeat?
The Beatles - I Want To Hold Your Hand - Remastered 2009
I bought this single in 1975 when I was 5 years old. I played it over and over!
A song from your favorite album?
Massive Attack - Teardrop - Remastered 2019
Elizabeth Fraser is one of the most incredible vocalists, and I adore Massive Attack. This song was a match in made in heaven!
A song from your most memorable gig?
Nina Simone - Here Comes the Sun
I saw Nina Simone at Carnegie Hall doing this song. She radiated energy!
A song that always gets you up and dancing?
The Supremes - Love Is Like An Itching In My Heart
I love Motown and the energy of this song always perks me up.
A new song you're listening to?
Gabriels - Love and Hate in a Different Time
Jacob Lusk is such a talented singer, while this recalls the Motown sound, there's something new about it as well.
Best song to turn up loud?
Public Image Ltd. - Public Image - Remastered
Johnny Lydon had fine-tuned his "rotten" sneer by the time the Pistols fell about and he re-grouped as PiL. This is a great song to blast loud.
A song that defines the teenage you?
Ultravox - Rockwrok
I don't know that this really defines the teenage me, but I sure as heck played it a lot then!
An anthemic song?
David Bowie - Suffragette City - 2012 Remaster
This is a such a "London" anthem to me. You cannot separate Ziggy and London and it exemplifies the energy and spirit of one of my favourite cities.
Best song to end an all-nighter?
Duran Duran - The Chauffeur - 2009 Remaster
This is the song Duran Duran should be known by.
