03Interview

Describe your style in three words?

Pop, nostalgic, colourful.

The first track you played on repeat?

Kanye West - Never Let Me Down

I was around six years old when 'The College Dropout' album came out. My sister would play it non stop in the car, and this one became our favourite sing along. Looking back I can truly appreciate the beauty of the record; the production, lyrics, feeling, spirit.

A song from your favorite album?

Snoop Dogg - Who Am I (What's My Name)?

Another one of my favourites from childhood, Snoop Dogg's debut album 'Doggystyle' was absolutely rinsed in the car and at home. The album is a phenomenally produced classic. Dr Dre really worked his magic on this record; all the P-Funk elements shine through in the music too.

A song from your most memorable gig?

Linkin Park - In the End

I absolutely loved Linkin Park growing up. They were one of the first bands I was exposed to. Download Festival 2014 - I went with a few friends from secondary school, this was my first taste of festival life too.

A song that always gets you up and dancing?

Mariah Carey - Heartbreaker (feat. Jay-Z)

Not much needs to be said about this, it's a classic.

A new song you're listening to?

Scott the Pisces - Crazy About You

My new single 'Crazy About You'... Shameless plug I know but it's such a feel-good vibe I had to!

Best song to turn up loud?

Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz - Get Low

FROM THE WINDOW..... TO THA WALL.

A song that defines the teenage you?

Sum 41 - In Too Deep

Without a doubt, pop-punk became the soundtrack to my early teens, especially at parties with the older kids. Sum 41, Blink 182, Fallout Boy ruled my teenage years.

An anthemic song?

2Pac - California Love - Original Version

If this isn't playing when I touch down in Los Angeles, I'm getting back on the plane.

Best song to end an all-nighter?

Ms. Lauryn Hill - Ex-Factor

This is my ultimate sing along feel good song.
