Name, where are you from?
Bobby, Elliot, Will & Cam, from Blackpool.
Describe your style in three words?
Mod, Punk, Sixties.
What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
IDLES when they came to Blackpool. They're a band with a powerful message and to have them sell out a venue local to us was inspiring.
If you could be on the line up with any two bands in history?
Nirvana and Jimi Hendrix. They were both pioneers of their respective genres. Their music still sounds relevant and refreshing even today.
Which subcultures have influenced you?
As a band, we're influenced by Mods and Punks.
If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
B: Tutankhamun - a complete mystery them ancient Egyptians.
E: John Lennon - I can see him being quite philosophical... so I’d talk and chill out with him, whack a jam in there as well.
W: Flea - He's the reason I started playing bass and I'd love to meet him.
C: Erwin Schrödinger - Father of quantum theory and generally just a legend in the physics world.
Of all the venues you’ve played, which is your favourite?
We played at the 02 Ritz in Manchester, which was great. It's a venue that feels big yet intimate at the same time.
Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
B: Sixto Rodriguez - an unbelievable musician who unfortunately was messed around by the industry and never got the plaudits that he deserved. If you have a spare minute go and watch the documentary Searching for Sugarman, which explains it all.
The Slumdogs will release their debut EP 'Where's Your Sanity?' on 16th November 2018. It will be available on all major digital platforms (iTunes, Spotify etc).

C: 'Caprici Di Diablo' by Ygnwie Malsteem.
B: 'Life On Mars' by David Bowie.
E: 'I Want You (She's So Heavy)' by The Beatles.
W: 'Roxanne' by The Police.
Best song to turn up loud?
'Tear You Apart' by She Wants Revenge. It's been on a lot recently whilst we've been on the road. It's definitely not a song to listen to quietly!

C: 'Juicy' by Notorious B.I.G.
B: 'Feel' by Robbie Williams.
E: 'Compufonique (Part Deux)' by Maddslinky. Julio Bashmore.
W: 'Blind' by Korn.

B: 'Come On Eileen' by Dexys Midnight Runners.
