Describe your style in three words?
raw, intellectual, punk.
The first track you played on repeat? And where did you play it?
Sleaford Mods - I Feel So Wrong
For a long time I loved listening to the whole albums on repeat. This habit came from the cassette player. But when I found this song at the end of the «english tapas», it caught me. I listened to it again and again, trying to find a job after graduation from the University.
A song from your favourite album? And what does this track mean to you?
The Kills - Getting Down
It is the first great album I found for myself. This song means to me that when you have fun «oh oh oh ah» is enough to express the way the things are.
A song from your most memorable gig?
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Hate the Taste
Guys played at our city in 2013. There were random friends, cheap brew and the softest slamming in the crowd I’ve ever had.
A song that always gets you up and dancing?
Laid Back - Cocaine Cool - Extended, Vol. 2
This tune is so simple, while the bass-line is great. When vocal starts I always think that it is the beaver who’s singing. And I immediatley begin to do beaver moves.
A new song you're listening to? Why do you like this artist?
Sorry - Rock 'n' Roll Star
I like what these guys do with melodies and guitars. I wish them best, because it's very interesting to know which way they go.
Best song to turn up loud? And why?
Show Me the Body - Madonna Rocket
Why to play something loudly if not to give someone a word. I’d give a word to this guy.
A song that defines the teenage you? And the memories it evokes?
Placebo - Days Before You Came
The first sentence was the only one that I understood at the time: days were freezing, cold and empty. I remember long dirty winters, very early twilight and the weird force that leads you through the streets.
An anthemic song? Why does it get your pulse racing?
The Murder Capital - Don't Cling To Life
I guess the anthem should be uptodate first of all. The power of this song for me is that it’s the freshest.
Best song to end an all-nighter?
The Irish Rovers - Weigh, Hey And Up She Rises
The old song, the old morning problem. I’d like to participate in situation that this song portrays.
