Describe your style in three words?
Timeless styled modern.
The first track you played on repeat? And where did you play it?
Franz Ferdinand - Jacqueline
Xmas 2009 I got my first MP3 player, this was the first track that played when you turned it on - rarely got skipped.
A song from your favourite album? And what does this track mean to you?
Kasabian - Where Did All the Love Go?
Choosing my favourite was agony, the entire album boasts an individual identity with so much energy. You can play West Ryder almost anywhere, play it at funerals - play it at my funeral please.
A song from your most memorable gig?
Slaves - Sockets
I saw Slaves at Fruit in Hull, 2016. The carnage that unfolded in that tiny venue saw; phones were smashed and I lost my watch, but I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
A song that always gets you up and dancing?
The Fall - Totally Wired
Mark E.Smith's otherworldly persona alone brings out the best in anyone after a couple drinks, the drums & bass don't give you any excuses to not dance.
A new song you're listening to? Why do you like this artist?
Molchat Doma - На Дне
I don't know how I found Molchat Doma, but I'm not complaining at all. The ambient tones that spur from '80s synthwave matched with distant vocals really sends a shiver down my back - I love it.
Best song to turn up loud? And why?
Oasis - Morning Glory
Whilst I'm travelling, neck deep in work or in the shower - I still get goosebumps hearing that chopper.
A song that defines the teenage you? And the memories it evokes?
Jamie T - Sticks 'N' Stones
The lyrics sum up nearly everybody's experiences of naive underage drinking, blasting this tune reminds me of woeful hangovers and happily doing it all over again with mates the next day.
An anthemic song? Why does it get your pulse racing?
New Order - Blue Monday - 2016 Remaster
The intro's bass drum machine couldn't get more praise, Sumner's quirky stage persona and Hook's chilling bass pretty much laid the foundation for the Haçienda's acid house scene - something I will always admire.
Best song to end an all-nighter?
Oasis - Don't Look Back in Anger
If you're all singing this at closing time, you know you've got some great friends.
