Describe your style in three words?
60’s inspired, casual, fitted.
If you could make a record with anyone from history?
I would say someone like Jason Pierce. Mainly because I love most of the stuff he's done when in Spacemen 3 and also a lot of Spiritualized!
What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
Very hard to choose from but personally Howling Bells have never failed to disappoint me live & Babes In Toyland are by far the loudest band I've ever seen!
What British music icons inspire your sound today?
I would have to say Richard Ashcroft back in the days of Verve. To me, he's just a man that spoke the truth about real feelings and I've always felt I could relate to a lot of his lyrics. Also, Nick Mccabe's guitar sounds are just out of this world! I would have to add Kevin Shields of My Bloody Valentine to that list as well!
If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
Delia Derbyshire would have been an amazing woman to meet, she made such amazing sounds in the most interesting ways. I feel like she should have had a lot more credit for the stuff she created.
Which British subculture means the most to you?
I think it would have to be between the 60's and the 90's. I’ve always loved the way they were both quite similar. I love the colours and how tidy the 60's were but also love the whole baggy & grungy look of the 90's.
If you could share the bill with any band?
Well, luckily one of our dreams has just become a reality supporting The Jesus and Mary Chain at Bournemouth 02 Academy which was an amazing experience. We would love to play with Slowdive though!
What music did you listen to growing up?
Growing up I loved a variety of stuff, mainly a lot of 90's dance music as it was always on the radio or t.v at the time. But the first real band I ever got into was the Manic Street Preachers!
Is Bliss are a Portsmouth based trio with an eclectic sonic range - blending elements shoegaze, psychedelia, rock and noise pop. Their latest EP 'The Honeycomb Explosion' was released in May 2017.

But in fairness, I keep listening to older music and finding rare 60's classics! My favourite album at the moment is The Millennium - Begin. I love the feel good/sunshine pop vibes it brings out and the way it takes me to another place.
