Bastille - Good Grief

I first heard it on an advert for their second album and it came into my life at the perfect time where I was trying to find a new sound. This song did exactly that and I am still obsessed it’s embarrassing.

A song from your favorite album?

HAIM - Leaning On You

This album came into my life during the first lockdown, and even though it came out quite recently, all songs in 'Women In Music' had a nostalgic effect, whilst also radiating how I see my future. I don’t know I can’t really explain it, it’s just that beautiful.

A song from your most memorable gig?

Arctic Monkeys - I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor

Did you even go a good gig if you didn’t lose your voice? Screaming to this song alongside my friends and strangers was a wonderful memory in itself. Although this gig was in 2018, I still feel a strain in my voice box to this day.

A song that always gets you up and dancing?

Snoop Dogg - Signs

I’m 20 but my back is 60, and only this song can make me stretch and move around properly. I love how I can’t feel a thing when dancing to this, and then as soon as it ends, I feel all the side effects later.

Miley Cyrus - Prisoner (feat. Dua Lipa)

When the volume is at a maximum with this song, the bass can break your speakers because of how powerful it is. Songs like this are worth breaking your speakers for.

A song that defines the teenage you?

The 1975 - Milk

The 1975 played a massive influence in my teenage years. Throughout the time, I was very very closed off and in my own bubble, even sharing the music I like was out of my comfort zone, and songs like this brought me comfort.

An anthemic song?

Stevie Wonder - For Once In My Life

The lyrics are so wholesome and uplifting along with the melody and instruments. I strongly believe it was written for me because of how wonderful this song is. I can’t explain it in words so it would be great for you to listen and understand. You will thank me later.

Best song to end an all-nighter?

Gorillaz - Feel Good Inc.

This is a steady bop that you can either scream to with your friends that clearly have good taste in music or hum to on your own. 'Feel Good Inc' has been a classic for such a long time, and is not losing that brand any time soon.
