Describe your style in three words?
Beige clad Bridget.
The first track you played on repeat?
Busted - Year 3000
To my fellow millennials and guitar band lovers - you know it started here.
A song from your favorite album?
The Strokes - Is This It
How can you choose between The Strokes albums? For now. A classic...
A song from your most memorable gig?
White Lies - Farewell To The Fairground
I've seen them live countless times but glitter falling from the ceiling, singing in unison with die-hard fans at The Troxy was one of those life-affirming moments.
A song that always gets you up and dancing?
Crack Cloud - Ouster Stew
I think they're a marmite band. I say give in to the chaos and get gyrating.
A new song you're listening to?
John Myrtle - Get Her Off My Mind
A bop that's sure to get you feeling all warm and fuzzy. Lord knows we could do with some of that right now!
Best song to turn up loud?
Cabbage - Subhuman 2.0
Finishing just shy of 7 minutes, it's one of those distorted rackets for exorcising the dark days.
A song that defines the teenage you?
Spector - Chevy Thunder
The band that triggered my inner alternative kid and deep-rooted passion for a very sweaty gig.
An anthemic song?
The Human League - Don't You Want Me
Turn the music down on the chorus and I guarantee everyone will sing back. One of the band members said hi after hearing me play this at a pub set which was pretty special.
Best song to end an all-nighter?
Elton John - Rocket Man (I Think It's Going To Be A Long, Long Time)
My hero. I've finished so many DJ nights with people stood on bar tops sing along to this gem.
