Describe your style in three words?
Hybrid of London
The first track you played on repeat? And where did you play it?
The Prodigy - Poison (Remastered)
This track I rinsed as it was on the first cassette albums I bought aged around 10! My friend and I were influenced by his older sister. I carried the tape with me everywhere and probably annoyed my parents immensely with the constant playing.
A song from your favourite album? And what does this track mean to you?
Deftones - Digital Bath
Deftones are my favourite band I adore there sound and style. The White Pony album is arguably there finest and this one of my fav tracks from it, the drum pattern is exquisite and the lyrics thought provoking.
A song from your most memorable gig?
The Naked And Famous - A Wolf In Geek's Clothing
My wife and I saw these guys at the Roundhouse when we first started dating. It was an awesome gig, the sound was incredible. The deep sub bass at the beginning of the track was earth shattering! Brings back some warm, happy memories.
A song that always gets you up and dancing?
CHIC - I Want Your Love - 2018 Remaster
I am not much of a dancer these days! But this track has the groove to end all grooves and always gets my head bopping.
A new song you're listening to? Why do you like this artist?
King Krule - Alone, Omen 3
King Krule is one of my favourite artists, and I have been eagerly awaiting new material since 'The Ooz'. Safe to say they have not disappointed, love the flow of this track and the dark outro. He encapsulates London's raw vibe and unique sound and style.
Best song to turn up loud? And why?
Deftones - Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away)
Another one of my favs from the mighty Deftones. The vocals and guitar on this always make me crank up the volume.
A song that defines the teenage you? And the memories it evokes?
Krust - Warhead - Steppa Mix
I was heavy into the Jungle/Drum & Bass scene growing up and this track always went down a storm when dropped into a set. Absolute banger what more can I say.
An anthemic song? Why does it get your pulse racing?
Kasabian - LSF - Live
Those that have seen Kasabian live, especially in the early days will know why this is an anthem. Memories of leaving there gigs with everyone singing out the melody of this track.
Best song to end an all-nighter?
Slipknot - Left Behind
Headphones in after getting home, this one will finish you off!!!
