Name, where are you from?
Myles Morgan, London Town.
Describe your style in three words?
Uncanny, unpredictable, unadulterated.
What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
Reading 2010, the line up was amazing and I got to see loads of bands I thought I'd never see like The Libertines and Blink 182.
If you could be on the line up with any two bands in history?
Jimi Hendrix. I started learning guitar at the age of 18, the guitar was a gift from my mother at Christmas that year and naturally, I wanted to be the best, so I had to learn from the best.
John Lennon. I always just thought I would be a guitarist in some band, and that was it, that was my only dream, so to be in a position where I'm able to write a song and express myself is more than I ever dreamt. I just wanna be honest and I think John did it the best, in terms of honesty and authenticity.
Which Subcultures have influenced you?
D.I.Y. Just the ability to say and do whatever you want for art's sake is amazing, especially finding the confidence to do it yourself when the rest of the world is looking for a clutch, it's very inspiring.
If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
Amy Winehouse. She was very influential upon my formative years in songwriting. She said she wanted to make music that made people feel they are not alone, especially coming from a females perspective. I feel I'm doing the same thing in music but from a male perspective, but then again in saying that, I think my songs are vague enough for everyone to attach meaning to them in the plight of love and the angst that comes with one's quest for happiness.
Of all the venues you’ve been to, which is your favourite?
KoKo Camden for sure, Always get a great view and sound no matter where you are in the auditorium. Fond memories of seeing a lot of music I love there. Also saw Natty there with my drummer from my other band Young Native and our friend Sarah.
Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
Daniel Johnston. He just has that feel that I search for in music, true and brutally honest.

I only knew that one song of theirs for ages then I had my first girlfriend and she schooled me on everything funky.

I remember my brother bringing the album home one day, I also remember I was in year 3 and I took it into class for show and tell.
The song to get you straight on the dance floor?
Sophie Ellis-Bextor - 'Murder On The Dancefloor'
I hold my arms out wide to this song with my eye's shut spinning around that dance floor.
Best song to end an all-nighter?
Georgie Fame - 'C'est la Vie'
It’s just one of my favourite songs - the songwriting, the production, the horn playing, everything is there.
Any new bands you are into at the moment?
Honey Creeper - A friend posted this on her Instagram-story and I checked it out and it was a really nice find.
Altar - My friend from Liverpool who also stayed with me in London for a short stint.
