Name, where are you from?
We are Tuva and Nelly, from Gothenburg, Sweden.
Describe your style in three words?
Alternative Wonder Rock.
What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
Last year we went to BIME Festival in Bilbao, and ended up at a club late at night (was this even a part of the festival!? We have no idea) and there was this local Spanish band playing some kind of klezmer-inspired disco/reggae? Really hard to describe but damn, it was an amazing experience to watch. We threw our bags and jackets away at the floor and danced until dawn. Do we remember the name of the band? Absolutely not.
If you could be on the line up with any two bands in history?
Rage Against The Machine (for obvious reasons) and Rammstein (so we can learn from their pyrotechnic techniques and hopefully get our eyebrows burned away).
Which Subcultures have influenced you?
We used to skateboard when we were teenagers. It didn’t look too good on us!
If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
Probably one of our grandmothers.
Of all the venues you’ve been to, which is your favourite?
The ones we had too much of a good of a time in to remember.
Jokes aside, it’s hard not to love our home city’s pearl: Pustervik. There’s just a certain feeling here, and every time we’ve played here we’ve been so nervous. Perhaps because when we were children it felt like it was out of reach to play there. And then suddenly we can. Amazing!
Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
Patrik Wennberg (Baby Missiles) is an amazing songwriter. Why he isn’t world-famous is hard to understand.
Also, there is a mysterious small band in Gothenburg called Sport & Fritid (in English: Sports & Leisure) that occasionally releases songs.
Pale Honey's latest single 'Set Me Free', is taken from their upcoming album, due in February 2020. The Swedish duo are often described as sitting perfectly between '80s pop/disco and '90s alternative rock.

Tuva walked the school corridor listening to Jimi Hendrix on her iPod. That is why she is such a great guitar player and dreams about the day when she gets her amazing Jimi hair.

Dolly Parton - 'Jolene'
Beautiful in every way.

Radiohead - 'House Of Cards'

We’re all in there, in the overcrowded queen size bed looking up at the roof, laughing at some horrible joke we’re all too deep into to let go. Nothing makes sense but we’re there together, life is beautiful and as the sun is wanting to come up you put this on and tell people to sleep over wherever there is a spot or go take the fucking morning bus because those breakfast pancakes aren’t getting cooked until we’ve had at least three hours of sleep.
