Pozi (Rosa, Toby & Tom), one-third South East London and two-thirds West London.

Describe your style in three words?
All over floor.

What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
R: Patti Smith at Shepherds Bush Empire in 2007. Patti Smith put the whole audience into some kind of trance I can only imagine what being religious might feel like.
Tb: OOIOO at Kamio – I’d never heard of them so it was a total surprise and they encapsulated everything I love about music. A bit like Television on crack.
Tm: The Stone Roses reunion gig. An amazing gig and day in Manchester and I’ve loved them since I was young.

If you could be on the line up with any two artists in history?
The Fall – for the abuse.
R: The Shangri-Las. Really curious to see how they got their punk reputation on the road. They have a lot of mystique.
Tb: Public Image Ltd.

Which subcultures have influenced you?
Punk, Japanese noise rock, free jazz, jungle, d&b, opera, krautrock, folk. All of these and more open up discussion about the length of songs, does a song have to have a specific message or emotion, the differences between recorded and live.

If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
David Bowie. Was kind of quietly convinced our paths would cross but then they didn’t. An hour with him might not really cut the mustard though.

Of all the venues you’ve been to or played, which is your favourite?
The Lexington, it feels good to be right in the heart of London in Kings Cross, the stage set up is small but satisfying, the lighting is atmospheric, and we like how a lot of bands we really respect play there but it’s also not trying to be too polished. Secretly(?) like to stay on after live music there for the White Heat indie club night on Fridays.

Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
Delia Derbyshire. She made a lot of the early electronic music for BBC in the '50s - an inspiring innovator.
