Describe your style in three words?
Sensible, introverted, hybrid.
The first track you played on repeat?
Polyphia - Crush
Polyphia is a band that was highly recommended by my classmate in college. So it reminds me of the gigs that I went to, the sombre atmosphere where I discovered many great artists.
A song from your favorite album?
The Stone Roses - Fools Gold - Remastered
The Stone Roses have always been one of my favourites. And of course, this song has been in the film 'Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels', which made me so excited to capture it at the end of the film.
A song from your most memorable gig?
Mac DeMarco - Freaking Out the Neighborhood
One of my unforgettable gigs: Mac Demarco live in La Villette Park in Paris. Such a treasure boy.
A song that always gets you up and dancing?
Earth, Wind & Fire - Boogie Wonderland
Found it in the French film 'Intouchable', fell in love with it immediately.
A new song you're listening to?
Jessie Ware - Remember Where You Are
Not really a very new song but I kept listening to it whenever I go jogging these days.
Best song to turn up loud?
Beach Fossils - Vertigo
To be honest, I burst into tears the first time I listened to it, such a beautiful guitar line partly influenced by effect unit. The fragility is hard to touch but easy to feel.
A song that defines the teenage you?
Linkin Park - In the End
Reminds me of rebellious times in high school.
An anthemic song?
Mansun - Dark Mavis
Nothing to say, lucky and so surprised to have found it.
Best song to end an all-nighter?
Queen - Don't Stop Me Now - Remastered 2011
It's like an ironic recall, but there's no better choice for me.
