03Interview

Describe your style in three words?

Feminine, timeless and joyful.

The first track you played on repeat?

No Doubt - Don't Speak

I heard the song for the first time as a teenager at a private party and I was immediately impressed by Gwen Stefani.

A song from your favorite album?

Green Day - Jesus of Suburbia

Green Day have so many inspiring and meaningful lyrics, but from the album ESSENTIALS 'Jesus of Suburbia' is my favourite. All songs have this "Do what you want and don't care about other opinions".

A song from your most memorable gig?

Moderat - Bad Kingdom

a few years ago in Cologne live and I was thrilled. I like the way the guys make music.

A song that always gets you up and dancing?

a-ha - Take on Me

I´m a child of the '80s and a-ha is part of my childhood and 'TAKE ON ME'. I like the ease in music and the motivation to get involved and not be afraid.

A new song you're listening to?

LIFE - Euromillions

LIFE is everything you could possibly want from an artist - they are politically astute, angry, intelligent, coarse-grained and brilliant. LIFE is rocky with lots of guitar music and they have influences from Blur, The Fall and Parquet.

Best song to turn up loud?

LIFE - Grown Up

Because it has a lot of anger and power, it is great for working out in sports, but it also has fuel to talk about music lyrics.

A song that defines the teenage you?

Republica - Ready to Go

Listened up and down as teenagers and had a good time.

An anthemic song?

Beastie Boys - Sabotage

in the '90s as a teenager I couldn't get past it and it's just typical for the guys from Beastie Boys, this way is unique for me and I can only hear it from you.

Best song to end an all-nighter?

Billie Eilish - when the party's over

The title text expresses it exactly... the party is over.
