Name, where are you from?
All Tvvins (Lar) from Dublin, Ireland.
Describe your style in three words?
Natural, Relaxed and Colourful.
What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
Radiohead at the RDS, Dublin in 1997. It was my first ever Live show and all I listened to at the time was "OK Computer", the atmosphere and amount of people gathered together in one space to watch a band really blew me away!
If you could be on the line up with any two bands in history?
Queen in the "Hot Space" era. They were one of the best bands in the world and this album was during a strange disco period but when they played live, they played the songs super fast and with real energy, they sounded amazing!
Also would love to be in almost any Prince lineup, never got to see him live but I've watched shows across every era and the dude was just next level no matter what he did.
Which Subcultures have influenced you?
When I started out making music I grew up and played within a DIY Punk scene. It was really inspiring to see bands book tours, create, record and release their music with no real support. Now it seems quite standard but it wasn't the norm at the time!
If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
Not very far back in history but Brian Eno - I really admire how he views and talks about music and culture. I've watched nearly every interview with him online no matter what the topic is, he just seems like such an interesting person.
Of all the venues you’ve been to, which is your favourite?
The Olympia, Dublin. I grew up seeing so many amazing shows there, from Muse to Def Leppard to Smashing Pumpkins... it's quite an intimate venue but a lot of higher profile bands still play it. It's a special room.
Alumni of Fred Perry's SubcultureLive, All Tvvins released their second album ‘Just To Exist’ in April via Faction Records. The Dublin band will also play a series of UK gigs to support the release (dates below).

The first track you played on repeat?
My Parents had The Jungle Book soundtrack and I remember playing 'I Wanna Be like You' a lot! Ha!
A song that defines the teenage you?
Refused - 'Summerholidays Vs Punkroutine'
Every track on the album (The Shape of Punk to Come) is killer, I listened to this record every day for about two years and it's still one of the best sounding albums I've ever heard.
One record you would keep forever?
Steve Reich - 'Music for 18 Musicians'
I never get tired of it, every time I go back I feel like I hear something new.
A song lyric that has inspired you?
"I've found again (Again)
A space in my heart again (Again)
For God again (Again)
In the form of art again (Again)"
Villagers - 'Again'
A song you wished you had written?
So many but, Bibio - 'À Tout À L'heure' is a song that whenever I play it to anyone, they almost always want to know who it is and seem to connect with it straight away.
Best song to turn up loud?
AC/DC - 'Let There Be Rock'
It still sounds so powerful and exciting - the track just does what it says.
A song people wouldn’t expect you to like?
Bruce Hornsby - 'The Valley Road'
This track does have a Baywatch intro music vibe but its a banger and so uplifting! I believe he recently collaborated with Bon Iver so that should be cool.
The song to get you straight on the dance floor?
Oingo Boingo - 'Dead Man's Party'
This was Danny Elfman's old band, I really dig how different they were and the songwriting and arrangement was so precise.
Best song to end an all-nighter?
Bjork - 'Cocoon'
Every sound on this track is unique and special. It's the perfect song to float away to after a party.
