Describe your style in three words?
comfortable, functional, colourful.
The first track you played on repeat?
Dead Prez - Hip-Hop
My old friend Max played it on his Sony Ericsson phone at the bus stop about ten years ago, I couldn't get enough of Dead Prez then.
A song from your favorite album?
Yung Lean - Shawty U Know What It Do
I listen to the song on Friday nights in someone's kitchen, it makes me go crazy.
A song from your most memorable gig?
Skepta - Detox
Skepta played at Berghain in Berlin, I remember it because the combination was kind of funny. Skepta went crazy, he was in top form. I never entered that club again.
A song that always gets you up and dancing?
Spliff - Carbonara
I can actually listen to that everywhere, it makes me feel good.
A new song you're listening to?
Babyxsosa - LONELY NIGHTS IN NY
I listen to this song at home while I'm cooking and I'm looking forward to whatever else Babyxsosa comes out with in the future.
Best song to turn up loud?
Sheck Wes - YKTS
I have no idea how many times I have listened to this song at full volume. For me full volume means really really loud, my sound system at home is unbeaten.
A song that defines the teenage you?
Kim Carnes - Bette Davis Eyes
That's a hard one but I think I'll go for this classic by Kim Carnes, simply because I've listened to it continuously over the years.
An anthemic song?
The Notwist - Pick Up The Phone
This one is my personal anthem to my childhood, it is best listened to in the car.
Best song to end an all-nighter?
Supernova - Elégie
Let Paul Hazan and Supernova sing you to sleep after an all nighter, you won't regret!
