Describe your style in three words?
A patchwork abomination.

What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
Show Me the Body. Saw them in Rough Trade East last year and was inspired by how they fuse different elements together, 'New York Lullaby' is primarily a hardcore tune but with a disgusting distorted sample replacing the guitar.

If you could be on the line up with any two artists in history?
The Fall. We always loved The Fall for their forward-thinking mentality and extensive output. They were always evolving and experimenting with new sounds and that’s all we wanna do.

Rage Against The Machine. Their first album is one of our favourite albums of all time and changed the way we looked at music the first time we heard it. Tom Morello was a big inspiration for me on the guitar, the way he manipulates the guitar to create the most original and wavy sounds is so innovative inspiring. They were, and still are, the only guys to do rap-rock right and with the number of people that have tried and failed since shows how talented and special they were as a band.

Which subcultures have influenced you?
Through the years we’ve mainly been influenced by a lot of post-punk and surf rock. We’ve always admired innovative people who always try to push the culture forward and have always had an interest in the lifestyle of surfers; travelling as well as the wavey guitars. But in parallel to that, we also grew up around a lot of UK hip-hop that has shaped our sound and us as people. Even the energy and vibe from trap - 36 Mafia to Lil Ugly Mane - has shaped the production and energy we bring life.

If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
Gordon Ramsey cos I f*ck with Hell’s Kitchen highly and he’s the only person I would ever fanboy. He’s a national treasure and I’ve spent hours watching him grill people with my boys finding it so jokes.

Of all the venues you’ve been to or played, which is your favourite?
Sneaky Pete’s in Scotland is probably one of our favourites. We played there when we were on tour with Lady Bird and it popped off. Perfect sized venue for intimate vibes and loads of energy.

Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
Shizz McNaughty. Shizz has been in the game for over 10 years and is the waviest mc and producer who is massively underrated.
