Describe your style in three words?
Football, music, explore.
The first track you played on repeat?
Sex Pistols - Holidays In The Sun
On a tape player, my musical awakening at the age of eleven.
A song from your favorite album?
Arctic Monkeys - I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor
In the van, this means we’re off on our camper hols, exploring this beautiful English country of ours.
A song from your most memorable gig?
The Vaccines - Handsome
We pulled up outside Concorde 2 and listened to Zane Lowe play the ‘Hottest Record in the World Right Now’. This was it, the first-ever playing, and he played it twice. We then went in and saw The Vaccines perform it for the first time.
A song that always gets you up and dancing?
Toots & The Maytals - 54-46 Was My Number
At any ska/reggae gig/night out, and at home of course.
A new song you're listening to?
Slow Time Mondays - Let's Make Plans
At home, in the car, at their gigs. Great band, cracking lads, and all Fred devotees.
Best song to turn up loud?
Die Antwoord - I Fink U Freeky
Only at home so we can bounce all over the place. (Not around children, and only when the neighbours are out).
A song that defines the teenage you?
The Specials - Too Much Too Young - 2002 Remaster
Not me, but the song of my youth.
An anthemic song?
The Killers - Mr. Brightside
Parties, everyone knows all the words.
Best song to end an all-nighter?
The Specials - Enjoy Yourself (It's Later Than You Think)
Gigs/concerts/partys/hootenannys.
