Describe your style in three words?
Casual Rude Classic.
The first track you played on repeat? And where did you play it?
Buzzcocks - Orgasm Addict - 2001 Remastered Version
I was 12 or 13, I found it on YouTube after a little rabbit hole of tracks. It was Sooo offensive at the time. Now it's a classic.
A song from your favourite album? And what does this track mean to you?
The Royal Hounds NYC - I Live for This
This album and this song in particular really just captures the energy of my underground scene.
A song from your most memorable gig?
Crass - Securicor
It was Steve Ignorant's paranoid visions playing at the Fonda in Los Angeles 2 years ago. Only punk show I've been too where 100% of the audience screamed the whole set. Got a picture with him. High class show.
A song that always gets you up and dancing?
Laurel Aitken - Sally Brown
Watch out for her Stick.
A new song you're listening to? Why do you like this artist?
Kong Kong - Cassette
The irony that the give of, and how heavy it feels.
Best song to turn up loud? And why?
Bishops Green - Alone
I have a magnetic speaker in my phone, I'm a walking party.
A song that defines the teenage you? And the memories it evokes?
Bad Brains - Right Brigade
My introduction to who and what I am today.
An anthemic song? Why does it get your pulse racing?
Camera Silens - Pour La Gloire
Knowing the bands history. Rest in peace Gilles Bertin. He got away with it.
Best song to end an all-nighter?
The Specials - Friday Night, Saturday Morning - 2015 Remaster
It sums up a lot of nights for me.
