Describe your style in three words?

Grunge meets sports

The first track you played on repeat?

Kings of Leon - The Bucket

Heard it on Kerrang as a teenager and then went straight to Limewire to put this on my mp3 player! Became my favourite band.

A song from your favorite album?

Pearl Jam - Black

9 times out of 10 this is my favourite album as it can hit every mood. (Sometimes it comes around sundown but already have KOL). This song is just beautiful and a great one to scream along to in the car.

A song from your most memorable gig?

Childish Gambino - Sober

Still surprised there are people who dont know who this guy is, he is an amazing musician and one of the most influential people on the planet. His live performances are amazing. Such an incredible live show and what an entertainer!

A song that always gets you up and dancing?

Friendly Fires - Jump In The Pool

I mean, can anyone not dance to this song? That drop towards the end. The least you're doing is a twist of the hips to this! One of the best live acts going.

A new song you're listening to?

The Pretty Visitors - Mystery Woman

I mean a plug for my pal's band. But they could really go somewhere, obviously heavy Arctic Monkeys vibes. Crowd-pleasing tunes with a few famous fans (after a play on Radio X).

Best song to turn up loud?

The Maccabees - Lego

I mean what a wonderful album this is. And this track, the intro with the guitar coming in. God I wish these guys would come back.

A song that defines the teenage you?

Tame Impala - New Person, Same Old Mistakes

I mean, maybe not the teenage me. But I have never connected with a song lyrically or in any sense, so much. A perfectly produced song. So pleased they played this live when I saw them at Ally Pally. Rihanna did a pretty good cover too.

An anthemic song?

The National - Mr. November

There are many songs to pick here. But this track for me is huge. Arguably the most underrated band in the world, still confused how they have not been headlining big festivals here in the UK.

Best song to end an all-nighter?

Arctic Monkeys - 505

This song you could straight swap with the last one. But I think the calm intro wonderfully sung is a great way to build up tension and suspense after what's been a long night and that heavy, perfect guitar is such a great way to end the night and get everyone out on a high!!!!
