Describe your style in three words?
Rock, Classy & Glamorous.
The first track you played on repeat? And where did you play it?
Indya - Tha Final Line - Dark Mix
This is my own Record. I listen to the record most days as I am always practising my voice for gigs. I usually have this on repeat in my bedroom whilst doing my glam makeup getting ready for a show.
A song from your favourite album? And what does this track mean to you?
Guns N' Roses - Sweet Child O' Mine
This song has always been my favourite since I was a child. I knew the words when I was 10 years old. I was always a sweet child and this was my childhood song. I have always stipulated that this would be my wedding song to whom ever I marry later in life lol. Good luck guys!
A song from your most memorable gig?
Natalie Indya West & ft Sunny Andre - Goddess (The Next Room Radio Edit)
I wrote this record it features Sunny Andrea (Peter Andres Sister in law). We performed this at Winterwonderland Hyde Park with Backing dancers. It was a magical gig. I remember the mythical ambience, Christmas lights, people cheering, a spiritual moment in music history for me.
A song that always gets you up and dancing?
Prince - I Would Die 4 U
I love the vitality in this song. It has spirit, energy and zeal. Every time I hear it, I just want to dance. It releases that serotonin in the brain. It gives you the verve of life. I find myself singing along with my hairbrush and imitating a few Prince moves in the mirror hehe
A new song you're listening to? Why do you like this artist?
Bring Me The Horizon - in the dark
I am in love with the bass line in this song. It's heavy, it's provocative. It kind of resonates my heart rhythm and gives me palpitations lol. I love the electronic Rock stuff. They were an inspiration of mine when writing my new album 'Rebel Music'.
Best song to turn up loud? And why?
Led Zeppelin - Black Dog - 2012 Remaster
I have The LZ greatest hits in my car. I love Roberts sexually charged vocals. I find it cool that the song does not contain the name Black Dog! It was only named that due to the fact that they kept feeding a Black Labrador in a mansion they were staying in.
A song that defines the teenage you? And the memories it evokes?
Enigma - Sadness
What got me fascinated by this record was the Gregorian chants. The Latin attracted me. I had an obsession with choirs and churches. This song came from a recording from The Kapelle Antiqua Choir which is based in Munich. It was a hit when I was younger - I played it on repeat!
An anthemic song? Why does it get your pulse racing?
Corona - Baby Baby - Lee Marrow Radio Mix
Everyone loved this in the '90s!! It's a song that will never fade out. If you're at a party or club, everyone wants to dance to this and sing along. It's a popular dance track. The dance trend of the '90s will never die. It's in vogue forever.
Best song to end an all-nighter?
The B-52's - Love Shack
Do I have to explain myself for this? The song says it all lol ....... xx
