Describe your style in three words?
Well turned out.
The first track you played on repeat? And where did you play it?
Harry J Allstars - Liquidator
When I started to go to Football matches. Repeated on numerous occasions on my Old man's Westminster "cabinet" record player, mostly on Saturday Mornings when he went out shopping with my mum.
A song from your favourite album? And what does this track mean to you?
The Stranglers - Something Better Change - 1996 Remaster
Back in late '70s early '80s UK wasn't in a good place. This track IMO spoke out for the hidden masses.
A song from your most memorable gig?
Motörhead - Ace of Spades
Hyde Park London, they were supporting The Foo Fighters whom I had purchased to watch, but Lemmy absolutely smashed it with this track before FF took to the stage.
A song that always gets you up and dancing?
Teena Marie - I Need Your Lovin'
Excellent upbeat dance track. Fantastic vocals and musicianship, brilliant track.
A new song you're listening to? Why do you like this artist?
Gregory Porter - Hey Laura
Superb artist, always produces excellent sounds.
Best song to turn up loud? And why?
Blur - Song 2 - 2012 Remaster
In my car when driving to a very stressful job. Short, but bang on the money for stress relief, trust me.
A song that defines the teenage you? And the memories it evokes?
Joe Jackson - On Your Radio
Unable to go out back in the late '70s early '80s due to lack of funds and homework, dreamed about being a DJ or footballer or a rock star, none of that happened, but this track sums up what I felt about the lifestyle back then.
An anthemic song? Why does it get your pulse racing?
The Who - Baba O'Riley
For me, football related, movie fever pitch hits the nail on the head by using this track in one of the scenes.
Best song to end an all-nighter?
Foo Fighters - All My Life
Well, because I am still searching...…...……….
