Describe your style in three words?
Northern Queer Trash.
If you could make a record with anyone from history?
Prince, just an amazing songwriter and producer, so much to try and absorb.
What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
Oasis at Maine Road, it was my first gig I was a school kid in a tracksuit on the third row, it blew my mind.
What British music icons inspire your sound today?
I’m a Britpop kid with a streak of punk in me and a love of the 60’s... The Beatles, John Lennon, Amy Winehouse, The Coral, Jarvis Cocker, Blur, Radiohead, The Kinks, Poly Styrene, Crass, The La’s.
If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
Frida Kahlo, I think she could teach me something.
Which British subculture means the most to you?
Got to be Hippy for the love man.
If you could share the bill with any British band in history?
X-Ray Spex so I get to meet Poly Styrene, I’m obsessed.
What music did you listen to growing up?
Back in the day my Nan had me listening to a lot of country, Patsy Cline was the favourite.
She Drew The gun are a 4-piece dreamy psych pop outfit from Liverpool fronted by singer/songwriter Louisa Roach.
They originally featured on our Liverpool Sound blog back in 2015 and more recently as part of our British New Wave 2017.
Their debut album 'Memories Of The Future' was produced by James Skelly and released via Skeleton Key Records in April 2016. An expanded version titled 'Memories Of Another Future' also had its own release in March 2017.

What was the first song you played on repeat?
I had the single of 'Love Song For A Vampire' by Annie Lennox on tape and used to play that on repeat, that's the earliest I can remember. Either that or Shakespeare’s Sister's 'Stay', something a bit weird and dramatic anyway.
One record you would keep forever?
'Son Of A Gun' by The La’s.
A song from your favourite album?
'I’m So Tired' by The Beatles.
A song you wish you had written?
'She’s Not There' by The Zombies.
