Name, where are you from?
We are Sweaty Palms from Glasgow. Scotland.
Describe your style (dress sense) in three words?
No bad, aye.
What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
Collectively? And Yet It Moves in Manchester Night and Day Cafe.
AYIM clearly hit their stride and displayed one of the rawest and vicious performances I’ve ever witnessed in my life.
Also Kieth Harcus’ unassisted audience performance was really to be witnessed once in a lifetime.
If you could be on the line up with any two bands in history?
Recently seen a poster where Bauhaus played in Aylesbury with The Birthday Party opening. Also had Subway Sect in the middle, bump them off - we’ll open. Might even backcomb our hair, it’s f*cking 1981.
Which subcultures have influenced you?
What goes on in Glasgow week in week out has a constant ascendancy on us in a positive and negative way, always resulting in something more positive in one way or another.
If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
A pint with Rowland S. Howard would be absolutely lovely. Nobody can or will be able to craft music full of contradictions like he did. Bet he has some good jokes too.
Of all the venues you’ve played, which is your favourite?
Jäger’s Jägerhaus at APE - because we got our first taste the good life. They drove us about in buggy’s, gave us lots of free booze and sunglasses, and treated us like true born industry standard rock n roll man-babies.
Or seriously our first gig at Fairfield working men’s club - that was a great, wholesome and extremely affirming experience.
Stole the show from the line dancing down the stairs. Upstaged by the pie and hotdog vendor at 10.
Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
Dale Barclay, most of the UK will know him for And Yet It Moves and The Amazing Snakeheads. A true born rock star, 100% bullshit free guarantee as standard and truly an inspiration to all. Ask anyone, they'll tell you.

'Time Unsubsidised' by Crack Cloud who just released the best guitar-centric album in years - sounds very familiar but like nothing else.
