What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
Eminem Rapture 2014, I've always been a massive Eminem fan and the show was beyond what I expected. I had a new appreciation for J.Cole after as well, his set was crazy! 

If you could be on the line up with any two artists in history?
Childish Gambino and Princess Nokia! They'd be so fun and inspiring to hang out with. And the show would be crazy good vibes.

Which subcultures have influenced you?
Diaspora. The mix of cultures is what makes me the artist I am. Persian/western. That all comes from relocating and growing up in a different country. It's been the biggest influence on everything I do.

If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
My great great grandmother, I wanna get all the goss and learn more about the family history.

Of all the venues you’ve been to or played, which is your favourite?
Flux in Christchurch, such a good vibe there, the stage is outdoors and the staff are so nice. I've played there twice.

Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
Sandy is a Persian artist I listened to as a kid, he's lowkey one of the most creative people who made music that still to this day I can draw inspiration from.
