Describe your style in three words?
Traditional, smart, scallywag.
The first track you played on repeat?
Arctic Monkeys - When The Sun Goes Down
When I was 6 my dad played that album for me in the car. Fell in love with that song instantly.
A song from your favorite album?
Talking Heads - This Must Be the Place (Naive Melody) - 2005 Remaster
I must listen to this song every single day. Really hits home, sometimes if I’m on my own I might even shed a tear.
A song from your most memorable gig?
Tom Jones (Karaoke) - Sex Bomb
Donny Racecourse 2016. He played after the races. Probably the youngest person there but loved every minute of it.
A song that always gets you up and dancing?
The Style Council - The Lodgers (Or She Was Only A Shopkeeper's Daughter)
Paul Weller is the man. Such a boogie tune. I love the accordion or organ that plays throughout the song. So funky.
A new song you're listening to?
slowthai - feel away (feat. James Blake & Mount Kimbie)
He speaks a lot from his heart and really captures the emotion of British Youth at the moment. Also, Mount Kimbie and James Blake on production is just a bonus on this song.
Best song to turn up loud?
The Specials - Friday Night, Saturday Morning
Every weekend has to start with this song. Enough said.
A song that defines the teenage you?
Void - Go South
I use to be a little trash boy when I was a teen. Matured a bit more now. But I still feel the little teenager inside that wants to break every time I hear this song.
An anthemic song?
The Human League - Don't You Want Me
Anthem. Straight up anthem. Everyone gets up to boogie for this song.
Best song to end an all-nighter?
Depeche Mode - Enjoy the Silence
A slow banger. Perfect when to fizzle out the end of the night.
