Where are you from?
I was born in Kumamoto, and now I live in Tokyo.
Which sub-cultures have influenced you?
It’s must be punk rock. No, The Beatles, and John Lennon.
The Beatles and punk rock aren’t subculture, but mainstream culture, aren’t they?
If you could be on the line up with any band in history?
If I were a singer, I’d like to play with David Gilmour. I would ask him to play for me while I sang ‘Running Up To That Hill’ (by Kate Bush).
If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
I would get a drink with Morrissey, or with Kate Bush.

The first track you played on repeat?
I think it’s 'Starman' by David Bowie. I’ve listened to it many many times on vinyl when 'The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars' was released in 1972, so I was in the second or third year of junior high.
A song that defines the teenage you?
The Beatles. It’s too difficult to choose one song, but I like the album 'Abbey Road' the most.
One record you would keep forever?
'Abbey Road' by The Beatles.
Best song to turn up loud?
To sing loudly, it’s 'Don’t Look Back In Anger' by Oasis. When I DJ, I always sing loudly.
A song people wouldn’t expect you to like?
From the United States, Nina Simone, but from UK, Buzzcocks.
If it's really unexpected, it is Adele. I discovered her when I was watching the MTV in London in 2008 when her first album '19' including ‘Chasing Pavements’ was introduced. The gig held at the ceremony of the Grammy Awards a few years ago was great.
