Describe your style in three words?
HAND ME DOWN.

What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
I saw Death Grips in the desert in 2018, they were backlit the entire time so the three of them were perpetually silhouetted. I had seen them multiple times up until this point but the combination of lighting and setlist caught me off guard more than the previous shows. They opened with 'Beware' and then directly into most of the material off of 'Ex-Military' which I didn't think would happen.

If you could be on the line up with any two bands in history?
Chumbawumba and Wheatus because they are objectively the greatest bands that have ever existed and ever will exist.

Which subcultures have influenced you?
LA hardcore scene in the '80s, straight edge scene in DC in the '80s, a lot of '90s alternative bands, hard bop in the '50s/'60s. Recently a lot of English House and DnB.

If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
It would be a 'To Tell The Truth' episode. The celebrity panel would be Flea, David Foster Wallace, and Freddie Hubbard and they would all be trying to figure out who the real DB Cooper is.

Of all the venues you’ve played, which is your favourite?
In 2019 we played at Club Molotow in Hamburg which was one of the best shows we had ever played up until that point. It was our first time in Germany, and the hospitality of the venue and the crowd was something we hadn't experienced until that point. Nor did we expect it, being in a place so far from our home.

Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
We're big fans of Jonathan Fire Eater from DC and specifically Stewart Lupton, their vocalist. They broke up in '98 but just released 'Tremble Under Boom Lights' on streaming services which everyone should go listen to. The music/lyrics are great.
