Describe your style in three words?
Comfortable, Multi-functional, Glam.
The first track you played on repeat? And where did you play it?
McFly - Five Colours In Her Hair
I was five years old and got 'Room on the Third Floor' for Christmas. My sister and I woke up at 3:30am to open our presents, and my parents let me play the album on repeat for that whole morning.
A song from your favourite album? And what does this track mean to you?
Courteeners - Please Don't
I've always had a varied music taste, but this album was the beginning of my music taste changing into what it is now. I have so many great memories soundtracked by this album, and this song is one of my favourites from it.
A song from your most memorable gig?
The Stone Roses - Sally Cinnamon - Single Mix
The gig was at Manchester Etihad Stadium, during the summer of being 18 years old. After finishing my final A Level exam, we got straight on the train to Manchester. The weather was incredible and the atmosphere was amazing - the best way to start the summer.
A song that always gets you up and dancing?
The Specials - Monkey Man - 2002 Remaster
This song always reminds me of family parties. My parents and aunties and uncles are all into two-tone and ska and always this gets them up and dancing, so I must have got it from them!
A new song you're listening to? Why do you like this artist?
Nick Lowe - I Love the Sound of Breaking Glass
Not a new release but new to my repertoire. An upbeat, feel good tune. I love the way the different sounds are layered in.
Best song to turn up loud? And why?
Paul Simon - You Can Call Me Al
A song that strangely got added on to the pre-drinks playlist a few years ago. It reminds me of good times with friends.
A song that defines the teenage you? And the memories it evokes?
Rihanna - We Found Love
Dirty trainers covered in alcohol! This song played a lot when I first started going out-out and reminds me of student nights in Rock City (Nottingham).
An anthemic song? Why does it get your pulse racing?
Dexys Midnight Runners - Geno - 2000 Remaster
The song starts off with chanting in the background which starts to build energy and tension, then when the trumpets kick in it really gets it going. It's an absolute classic.
Best song to end an all-nighter?
Oasis - Don't Look Back in Anger
This is one that gets everybody up and swaying with their arms round each other. Whether you like Oasis or not, you'll know this track and probably all the lyrics, too. You can't help but sing along, and I think that's something that brings people together.
