Describe your style in three words?
Modernist, Hardmod, British.
The first track you played on repeat? And where did you play it?
Blur - Parklife - 2012 Remaster
I play it when I have to charge or something saddens me, is the song that made me love the Blur.
A song from your favourite album? And what does this track mean to you?
Madness - My Girl
back in 1979, I remember when a punk friend let me hear it in a jukebox telling me, "listen, this is the new sound."
A song from your most memorable gig?
The Specials - Do the Dog - 2002 Remaster
I saw The Specials in Milan, it was a great concert, I was with many old friends, during this song we all shouted in chorus "Skinhead!" I came out completely sweaty.
A song that always gets you up and dancing?
Marvin Gaye - Ain't No Mountain High Enough
It's the perfect song for dancing Northern Soul. In practice it is a family song, my wife and I are very attached to it.
A new song you're listening to? Why do you like this artist?
Grade 2 - Pubwatch
Grade 2 is a great young band, I hope they have a bright and very successful future.
Best song to turn up loud? And why?
Blur - Song 2 - 2012 Remastered Version
Why not? my neighbours are happy when I raise the stereo to full volume with this song...
A song that defines the teenage you? And the memories it evokes?
Stray Cats - Runaway Boys
My first tattoo was their logo, this song reminds me of the afternoons spent with friends on the street without any thought for the future.
An anthemic song? Why does it get your pulse racing?
The Specials - Enjoy Yourself (It's Later Than You Think) - 2015 Remaster
A hymn to enjoy life, always at any age, I love this song, the text, everything. live intensely, it is an advice I always tell my son.
Best song to end an all-nighter?
The Who - My Generation - Stereo Version
Another hymn reminds me of the first time I saw 'Quadrophenia'. A movie that forever marked my life. Once Mod, Always Mod.
