Describe your style in three words?
Comfortable, Cool & Classic.
The first track you played on repeat? And where did you play it?
Mint Condition - Breakin' My Heart (Pretty Brown Eyes)
I had just got back home from school and I my daily routine (when life was much simpler) was to eat a bowl of coco pops while I watched new videos on channel aka & when I saw/heard chipmunk rap, I instantly needed to hear it again.
A song from your favourite album? And what does this track mean to you?
Musiq Soulchild - Just Friends (Sunny)
This song is special to me because the '90s hold a special place in my heart and I love how every time I listen to the track I’m brought straight back to that.
A song from your most memorable gig?
H.E.R. - Best Part (feat. Daniel Caesar)
Let me start by saying firstly, H.E.R.’s performance was amazing. Secondly she sang while playing different instruments, by the end she had used 4 different instruments. And lastly the variation of ages of the crowd and how everyone came together for music was amazing.
A song that always gets you up and dancing?
Michael Jackson - You Rock My World
I’m a very visual person and when I was younger I used to get very emotionally invested into Michael Jackson’s music videos because they were literally movies. I love how the track breaks down into so many sections, it forces you to find your feet.
A new song you're listening to? Why do you like this artist?
Kdvsgoliath - Baggage
KDVSGOLIATH has been creating a buzz since the beginning this year and his ability to go from a heartbreak ballad too a turn up/most track amazes me.
Best song to turn up loud? And why?
XXXTENTACION - Look At Me!
Firstly R.I.P X. This song will forever be a classic, not just because of the controversy surrounding it but the fact that it birthed a new sound in not just rappers but producers too.
A song that defines the teenage you? And the memories it evokes?
Meek Mill - Ima Boss (feat. Rick Ross)
The memories this song bring to mind is going to house parties with my friends just after finishing my GCSE’s.
An anthemic song? Why does it get your pulse racing?
Chip - Good Morning Britain
The content. As a rapper, we understand you talk about your lifestyle. However having a message is very important too, it helps to guide people that are being led astray.
Best song to end an all-nighter?
I Wayne - Can't Satisfy Her
This is the perfect way to end the night as this song brings everyone together to sing the hook in harmony as they leave the dance.
