We hooked up with London-based LICKS Magazine to celebrate the launch of their fourth issue in our Seven Dials shop.
We’ve been big fans of Licks Magazine since it launched in print at the start of 2021, with the London-based music magazine giving early coverage to emerging talent including Lauran Hibberd, Josie Man, Umi, Yard Act and Vic Santoro.
Anyone with the tenacity to launch a new music magazine at the peak of a pandemic is OK in our book so we decided to celebrate with a launch party for their brand-new fourth issue.
Taking place in our Seven Dials shop, the party saw performances from London four-piece Buggs - whose deeply melodic take on lo-fi has a distinctly West Coast lilt – and a DJ set from Boogaloo Radio’s DJ Peggy, who catered with a set of indie bangers from Sports Team and Goat Girl.
The latest issue of Licks Magazine is out now featuring a dual cover including Walt Disco and Claud, plus features on Swindle, Surfbort, Lowertown and more.
