A true original, the M12 hasn’t changed much since it was originally designed by Fred Perry in the ‘50s. Legend has it that a buyer from Lillywhites requested the addition of football team colours to the plain-colour Fred Perry Shirt. So, Fred added subtle club colours to the collar and cuff and our M12 was born. A celebration of our shops, we release Fred Perry Shirts in colour palettes associated with our global shop locations. For this adaptation, the tipping references the Northern Soul scene synonymous with the city. Designed in Fred's famous streamlined fit, its production is a real labour of love, with each polo knitted, dyed, cut, embroidered and hand-finished in Leicester, England. Exclusively available online and in Fred Perry Nottingham.
