A true original, the M12 hasn’t changed much since it was originally designed by Fred Perry in the ‘50s. Legend has it that a buyer from Lillywhites requested the addition of football team colours to the plain-colour tennis shirt. So, Fred added subtle club colours to the collar and cuff and our signature twin tipping was born. A celebration of our shops, we release Fred Perry Shirts in colour palettes associated with our global shop locations. For this adaptation, the tipping references the blue colour card taken from the Lancashire cotton factory Fred’s father worked at. Designed in Fred's famous streamlined fit, its production is a real labour of love, with each polo is knitted, dyed, cut, embroidered and hand-finished in Leicester, England. Exclusively available online and in Fred Perry Manchester.
