Fred Perry x Craig Green

The Fred Perry Shirt: the uniform of the non-uniform. Always adopted – never forced – our absolute staple has long been the tie that binds subcultures and communities of individuals who are proudly the same, yet undeniably different. Craig Green’s continued exploration of communal dressing presents an instinctive bridge between both brands, with our shirt naturally becoming the ideal canvas for the development of a new creative uniform. A series of garments designed for doing.
Embracing industrial inspirations alongside concepts that are central to the very purpose of uniform – security, identity and belonging – this collaboration uncovers a more pragmatic space for the Fred Perry Shirt to occupy. A creative zone that leads us to meditate on the functionality of feelings and, conversely, the emotional aspects which are inseparable from a utilitarian design philosophy.
Comprised of four shirts, this launch experiments with layering and structure, bringing distinctly Craig Green methodologies to the fore. A duo of reversible shirts are crafted with doubled fabrications, pairing contrasting faces to create a singular new garment. In addition, two quilted styles are instantly identifiable as the work of Craig Green, reimagining the Fred Perry Shirt with the designer’s signature stitched channels running vertically through its piqué construction.

Uniform doesn’t have to stay the same – there’s always room for change. Discover new ways to wear the Fred Perry Shirt.
