Introducing a collaboration between Fred Perry and Curry & Paxton – the iconic Yvan frame in Black and Champagne colourways, inspired by the timeless Fred Perry Shirt.

Premium quality Cellulose Acetate from Italian manufacturer Mazzucchelli 1849 / Hinges are the most robust available / Lenses are from Italian lens make Divel / 100% UV protection / Cut and handmade in East London

Both Fred Perry and Curry & Paxton have a place in popular culture history which money can’t buy. Two British brands with iconic product; Fred Perry, founded in 1952 with its classic polo shirt and Curry & Paxton with an unrivalled pedigree in the optical world. Both brands are short-hand for originality, and this collaboration is a representation of this shared niche. The Yvan frame was iconised by British film actor Michael Caine when he wore the glasses in the Len Deighton spy film, The Ipcress File in 1965, and they are the very epitome of sixties style. Caine appropriated the frame again in 1969 in the British crime-caper, The Italian Job, although on this occasion sporting the sunglasses. The sunglasses come in two colour options, Black and Champagne – both colours inspired by the rebellious Fred Perry Shirt colourway which has been a piece of subcultural uniform since the 1950s.
